Learning Journal #9 (105)

I found this reading so interesting because I have read a lot of similar things in the past. I am absolutely fascinated with bilingualism and two or more languages in contact influence children during development. I thought it was nice that they contextualized the executive function of the brain and related it back to the results from the studies that they conducted and the conclusions that they were making. I hope that I can conduct bilingualism research at some point in my life!

Also, it is so ironic that the reading mentions Albert Costa because I was searching for linguists at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra while I was in Barcelona this past summer and he was one of the bios (from the website) that I read. Small world!
