  • I actually watched this movie in theaters in Korea! I really liked all the action and historic relevance throughout the movie. I also really liked the actors and actresses in the movie, and it amazed me at how well they were able to portray their characters. I enjoy Korean historical movies, especially those that concern the Japanese regime. I also agree that part of the reason that these types of films are so popular is that there's still quite a bit of resentment towards the Japanese due to our history with them.

  • Wow, this movie sounds intense and very interesting.  I'm glad the production was well-executed.  The Japanese colonial rule of Korea was absolutely brutal, and today, Japan refuses to actually admit or accept any responsibility for many of the war crimes they committed.  Because of this, I could see why movies such as these are still made today, so people don't forget what happened.
