I am currently using Mango Languages, and so far it has been very helpful. It is very easily to follow and is repetitive, which lets me memorize the vocab easier. The lessons aren’t too complicated/difficult yet, which is very good because I am still at a beginner’s level.
I have reviewed videos that were bookmarked on the Diigo group. It was nice to see what my peers where using and found helpful. The videos were fun and not too difficult to understand.
I also started to use Duolingo, it is similar to Mango Languages, but I think I am more use to Duolingo. I have used Duolingo in the past to learn other languages like Japanese and Italian. So, I was familiar with how Duolingo worked. I think that compared to Mango Language, Duolingo is a little more repetitive and makes you learn more vocabulary, but Mango languages is better for beginners.
I have started learning greetings and farewells in Korean. My language partner and classmates have all been very helpful. I haven’t begun learning survival language, but we have started to learn simple phrases like, “Hi”, “Goodbye”, “thank you”, “excuse me”. Some of these phrases I learned through Mango Languages and Duolingo, but we reviewed them again during out meeting.
