  • 생일 is one word for birthday, but 생신 (seng shin) is also birthday. The word you have is for informal conversations and 생신 is for formal conversations to elders. An example using it in formal conversation is : 생신이 언제세요? Also, it's not wrong to say 언제 입니까 but you would hear 언제세요 more often. Make sure to choose the right word for the right conversation hope it helped!
