I think it's good that you're learning these words because they are applicable to writing, speaking, and reading not just in the classrooms, but also in everyday life. I think learning more basic words will be even more helpful to you in the future.

I'm glad that you're keeping track of your vocabulary and expressions on Ning. Though I know most of the vocabulary and expressions listed, it gave me a good refresher on some vocabulary that I'm rusty on and haven't committed to solid memory yet. For example, I always seem to mix up my winter and fall because they sound so similar. Keep up the good work!
