In this final month of my Korean language learning journey, I've focused on reviewing vocabulary and phrases that I've encountered throughout the course. Additionally, I’ve wrapped up my broadcast project with my language partner, Claire, which involved practical application of my speaking and comprehension skills.
My goal this month was to really solidify my understanding of the language. I wanted to feel more confident using new words and phrases in conversation. Finishing the broadcast with Claire was also big on my list— I wanted it to go smoothly and to really show off what I've learned. Looking back, I think my strategies worked well overall. Using flashcards really helped me remember words, and watching The Squid Game made learning enjoyable. However, I realized that I need more real-time speaking practice. There were moments during the broadcast where I hesitated a bit when trying to recall certain expressions.Moving forward, I plan to incorporate more diverse resources like Korean podcasts and language exchanges. I want to continue growing my vocabulary and improving my fluency while also immersing myself in Korean culture through music and films. I’ve learned that mixing different resources is key! I want to keep the multimedia approach but also try more interactive activities, like language games or conversation groups. I think these will help me stay engaged and make learning even more fun.

I felt accomplished and proud of my communication skills. There were some tricky moments in our discussions where I just couldn’t remember a word. It made me realize how important it is to use the language as much as possible. As I wrap things up, I’m thinking about my long-term goals. I want to focus on conversational skills and continue immersing myself in Korean culture.
