Yes, I recently started writing in my target language through a combination of both hand-written and typing. Since I am still relatively new to writing in the Korean language, I would say I prefer typing as the autocorrect feature that is built in is usually helpful when fixing any spelling or grammar related errors. One pattern I have noticed is the order in which sentences are written, similarly to how it is spoken. Typically the subject would come first, then noun or object, then lastly the verb. With this simple yet important format, I am able to create more expressive sentences that still grammatically make sense. I would say that a lot of my speaking skills and subconscious understanding of the Korean language since I do have prior knowledge definitely helps and translates over into my writing abilities. While I am not actively thinking about the syntax or grammatical structure of a sentence, I usually speak out a phrase or a sentence to myself in my head, see if it sounds right, then write it as is. Some examples of short meaningful or common phrases are, (저는 Jeremy 입니다 - I am Jeremy), (저는 대학생 이학년 입니다 - I am a second year college student).
