I went to get a haircut over the weekend, and I went to this Korean hair salon called Shanel Hair Salon. There, I noticed that a man next to me had just finished his haircut. I thought that it looked very nice, so I asked him what he asked for when getting the haircut. He told me that he just saw this one guy get it on social media and thought that it looked really good. He ended up showing me the video and I agreed with its aesthetic. I thanked him for the information and decided to change the hairstyle that I wanted to the one I saw. Turns out, it was a hairstyle that was recently growing popular in Korea, and it had now gotten popular among the Korean Americans in the United States. I thought that it was very cool to see that Korean hairstyles are now trending in America. Hairstyle can be considered as part of a country’s culture, especially Korea where a majority of Korean men get the same few hairstyles. It was interesting to know that Korean culture has spread into America by the follicles of the head.
