reflection is to be the subject of at least 8 cultural posts throughout the
course of the semester. These posts may be related to your cultural
project, but that is not necessary.

of thinking about culture. As you learn 'facts' about a
culture--typical foods, words for family relationships, etc.--think
about what these 'facts' tell you about the beliefs, perspectives, and
values of the culture.
Your thoughts can be the substance of your cultural posts.
You should also be exploring how cultures--particularly the culture(s) you are studying--are portrayed in the media, in textbooks, etc. Use your culture posts to reflect upon what you discover in the course of the semester.
