Discussion Post 10

I would start off by studying the all aspects of the language and maybe read some literature reviews of the language. Then I would use the knowledge I gained to see if it can be applicable by native speakers of the language. This could be through interviews, surveys, or just plain social interactions utilizing speech, reading, and writing to gain good data. Through the data collected, I would compare it with the knowledge I gained from initial research and look for expected findings and new discoveries within the language. This can be within any of the topics we had talked about in class: phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and sociolinguistics. From comparing the two, I'll be able to form interpretations and conclusions of the language and possibly create the way for new studies.
