We have rice cakes in Chinese cuisine but they are disc shaped rather than cylindrical like these. Anyways, the Chinese rice cakes I eat are usually stir-fried and non-spicy. But, I'd like to try these too. I've found out after eating some Korean food that although it looks like it's really spicy from all the redness, it's really not that spicy. So, I wager that these have bearable hotness and are probably delicious.
