These past few weeks have been great with Isaac, I have really enjoyed getting back on the reading and comprehension side of the Korean language. We started last year by looking at a story that involved a tiger and a baby, the story is about the tiger wanting to eat the baby but then is scared away by a fruit. It is quite a funny story but we did not get through off of it so we are working on it now once again. It is hard to pick up where we left off because most of my Korean with Jason was working on conversational ideas. I enjoy working on both but going back to this story has made me realize that I still need to work on my reading comprehension If I really want to feel confident with my Korean. We also plan on going to Kbbq again to utilize my learned ability. One thing that I am continuing to work on is my pronunciation of Korean words, while identifying the phrase is not typically an issue my pronunciation is an area of growth that I need to tackle with the help of Isaac. Isaac makes it very inviting to struggle and learn, he is nonjudgmental and helps me work through my pronunciation in ways that make sense to me. I also plan on working on my writing a bit more throughout the semester I worked on my writing at the beginning of my Korean journey and while I definitely can write out simple sentences, the flow of my letters is not correct. Isaac and I plan to work on improving it but its not my overarching goal for my last semester.
