This week's artifact I am going to be talking about the Korean car company Hyundai. It is also referred to as Hyundai Motor Company which is a less popular way to say it but is indeed used in Korea. Their headquarters is in Seoul South Korea, and was founded in 1967. The company also owns a large stake in Kia which is a similar company to Hyundai. They also own their more high-end section which is Genesis and ioniq which is their all eclectic subset of cars. Hyundai has been around for quite some time but has recently had a large impact on American car consumers. There has been an increase in Korean cars in the United States with people appreciating their build quality along with their sleek look and ease of use. I have some bias because I own a Hyundai but it is the best car for the price I've been in. While they do cut some corners to cut costs they still produce an amazing product. I have had mine for 2 years and loved it, it is also one of the most innovative companies in their electric car line which has been using fake engine noise to satisfy people who still want the gas car feel in their sports car. I really like what they are doing with the future of electric cars, out of all the companies that are in the running for producing an eclectic sports car Hyundai is light years ahead of the competition with their innovative ideas. Again I do have bias but I also know others that have Hyundai like my roommate Josh, who also enjoys his Hyundai. I am excited about the future growth of the company and to see what ends up happening in the future with the incoming changes to importation.
