  • I have structured my self-directed Hebrew learning plan to enhance my proficiency in all four language skills; speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Through a combination of self-study, immersive experiences, and mentorship. My plan includes daily vocabulary drills, grammar exercises, and exposure to Hebrew media, complemented by guided instruction with a rabbi for conversational practice and textual analysis. For reinforcement, I have identified resources such as *Brandeis Modern Hebrew*, Israeli news websites, and Hebrew entertainment. This approach allows me to deepen my engagement with both the language and culture, especially in historical and religious contexts. My interest in Hebrew stems from both personal and academic motivations, particularly its relevance to my family as we speak Hebrew and I plan to go back to Israel to be with them and do my military service, as well as my research on Sephardi Jewish history and the Spanish Inquisition. Classmates have provided valuable feedback, particularly on my learning plan when I presented it and what edits I have to make to my plan so that I can achieve full fluency in Hebrew.
