I've certainly seen Vietnamese written before but had absolutely no idea how to make sense of the words so this crash course in the alphabet was very helpful! It is so interesting that Vietnamese makes use of six tones although I'm sure that makes the language a bit more difficult at times. I also didn't know that there was such a difference between the Northern and Southern dialects. Thank you for including the IPA spelling so I can try and sound out the letters myself. The chart you made was really great. Some of the sounds seem really similar so I could see myself struggling with those. Did you have or do you have any difficulty with differentiating between the letters sometimes? The tones were also really cool to learn about. To be honest, I didn't know that Vietnamese uses tones. Thanks for teaching me a bit about Vietnamese, Han!
