When I learned Spanish in high school, I enjoyed the immersive activities most. Our teacher would give us news articles and stories in Spanish. This would allow me to feel most immersed in the culture and the language. Although I appreciate the standard textbook way of learning a language such as memorizing words from a list, I always remember more when I am given more interactive activities.

Hi Ethan!
I also find that reading new articles in another language is a great way to immerse yourself in the culture, as well as inform yourself on global news and politics. For learning Spanish, I recommended listening to news channels such as Telemundo or Univision that are American Spanish-language channels, as they share stories in both the United States and Latin America.
