Interpretive Listening	-Ability to pick out key words in conversations and make sense of what people are trying to communicate	-Listening and learning from language partner twice a week -listening to songs
Interpretive Reading	-Ability to read and sound out all words even if I don’t know the meaning of the word (then be able to ask someone the meaning)	-Practicing by reading song lyrics or in-class texts given by language partner	-A basic conversation with introductions between two fictional characters from an assigned text

Interpersonal Speaking	-Ability to introduce myself and have small talk conversations -Ability to tell people time, day of the week, what I want to buy at the store, colors, and other common conversations	-Practice speaking with language partner twice a week	-Record what you would say in the following situations that are presented in English
Presentational Speaking	-Ability to speak in a clear fashion, perhaps combining multiple sentences at a time	-Writing and reading sentences in class -> practicing alone and in class with my language partner	-present different kinds of animals and colors of different kinds of preferred clothing
Presentational Writing	-Ability to write the alphabet- using certain non-Latin letters correction	-practicing writing text	-write out the alphabet to highlight letters which are different

Personal Goal One	-To better communicate with Turkish friends of mine	-Learning basic conversations and being able to ask questions, and understand a lot more than I can speak
Personal Goal Two	-To be able to return to Turkey and better understand the culture by having a better understanding of the language	-practicing with native Turkish speakers	-Cultural project topic on women in society and dating
