I am a novice learner and have zero background of Korean
Listening: beginner. I have watched some Korean movies, but understand none of them without subtitles. I not familiar with the pronunciation of Korean at all.
Reading: beginner. I have never read in Korean and do not recognize any of the alphabets and have no idea how to put them together.
Speaking: beginner. I have only learned some phrases in Korean, such as hello, really, and hungry. I do not think I have the right pronunciation of any of these phrases.
Writing: beginner. I have never written in Korean, and do not know any of alphabet.
Learning goal:
Listening: be able to recognize some phrases in the movies and be able to anticipate in daily conversation.
Reading: be able to read short phrases, recognize all the alphabets and be able to pronounce the word when they are put together.
Speaking: be able to do self-introduction, and anticipate in daily conversation.
Writing: be able to write short phrases, self-introduction through email, and familiarize with Korean keyword
Outside of the class, in order to improve my pronunciation, I will watch more Korean movie to familiarize with Korean phrases and try to imitate the way they speak, pronunciation and intonation. Watch movies and listen to Korean songs will also help me to improve my listening skills.
