I appreciated reading about the history of the bell, and the context you drew between different time periods in the history of South Korea to the present. I was fascinated by the fact that the symbolic modern day bell is a curfew imposed during COVID to prevent the spread of the virus. I also appreciated reading about the bell during the different historical time periods, such as during WWII and during the Joseon Dynasty. I imagine that those limitations would be extremely difficult during the pandemic.
