I believe that watching the presentations of my peers was beneficial not only to my perspective and knowledge of Korean culture and language, but also those of other languages as well.
I was paired in a team of fellow Korean speakers. One aspect of the Korean culture that one of my classmates brought up was extremely eye-opening. She presented on one of the aspects of culture that is present in the Korean culture, but not in today's American culture. This social norm can be vaguely described as familiarity and care. It was interesting to hear of a cultural aspect that is not present in the States.
