  • This was really interesting to read and it definitely made me hungry to while reading this! That's interesting that Malay food is often eaten with hands so much so that diners scoop mouthfuls of rice mixed with curry, vegetables, or meat onto people's palms and then ladle this into their mouths with the back of their thumbs. I wonder why that is or the cultural significance behind eating with no hands in such a way. I also loved reading the integration of other countries into the Malay's food because I love reading how different countries impact each other in different ways

  • Hi Jesse! I did not know that Malaysia’s national sport was Sepaktakraw before! Thank you so much because I have never heard of such a sport before which the players may use their feet, legs, knees, chest, and head to knock the takraw over the net.
