For this week we decided to go to a Korean restaurant with other classmates and order Korean food. For the entire time we were eating, Evelyn wanted us to try and talk in Korean as much as we can. We also introduced authentic Korean food to the students who were new to Korean language. They looked like they really enjoyed the food. Some of them were able to order in Korean and say a proper “thank you” back to the cashier. I ended up ordering a kimchi stew, which is one of my favorite Korean dishes. I of course ordered in Korean and talked with the rest of the students in Korean for most of the time. We had a very casual conversation about life, classes, and what fun things they want to do during the upcoming weekend.
