Artifact #2

This artifact has its own section in Bolivian markets and is also worn by vendors. During the winter, people wear hats that cover their ears and are made of alpaca fur. Similar to the word, aguayo, I had always thought this word was Spanish, but I learned through my uncle that the word is actually Quechua. In Quechua and in Bolivian Spanish, this type of hat is called a chulo. I have included a picture below.
