This week Atul and I only met for 1-1.5 hours since we both had busy schedules. This week was mostly about reviewing everything I had learned up until this point and seeing how much I have retained. It was also about using the vocabulary and tenses I have learned to create more complex sentences and be able to respond to questions. I realized I have retained most of the vocabulary but I am still struggling with all the different tenses and what context to use them in.
As I mentioned last week, it is a bit frustrating to actually try to speak and respond to questions. I understand exactly what Atul is saying when he is asking me a question, but it is difficult to formulate the response because in my head I am still processing the subject-verb agreement and conjugations of verbs. As I speak more I think everything will come more naturally, but for now it is difficult.
Atul and I have gone through most of the random topics that I wanted to go over, so we have decided to both think of new topics over Spring Break so that when we come back we can reevaluate where we are in my learning and go from there. I will try to create a plan for the rest of the semester over Spring Break and determine what my goals for the end of the semester should be.
