This week Atul and I worked on 10 new verbs and their conjugations. We have been focusing on present and future continuous forms of the verbs and next week we will start looking at simple past because it's a little more complicated. We also went over prepositions as well as clarified a lot of random grammar rules that are small words but they make a big difference. We also worked on greetings, farewells, and introductions. I learned that Hindi uses most of the same greetings and farewells as English so I didn't have to learn much. I learned how to introduce myself by saying my name, age, hometown, class year, languages I speak, my major, my interests, my plans for the summer, and my plans after college. I have included a voice recoding of my introduction. It felt really good to be able to speak a 5-6 sentences about myself!
