From the cultural projects presented in class, I realized that events and concepts in a society have trickle-down effects. For example, Tayaba presented regarding immigration and emigration of the Korean society. She presented that due to the low birth rate (a concept I mentioned in my presentation), the Korean government has allowed for more immigration into the country.
Additionally Daniel presented about Korean hip hop. In the lyrics that he presented, you can feel the societal influence.
I learned that culture can change and vary within a country and that those changes can trickle down and have various effects.
